Haru Haru part II and 2pm

Eh.

I don’t think the second one is such a hot idea. Having a group called 2am and then coming out with a group  called 2pm is rather…the only word that fits, honestly, is LAME.

First of all it has seven members. Then, for goodness sake, what are they wearing? (I honestly can’t stand all the boybands that are dressing like crap to “make a statement”. Like G-Dragon for example, I love him, I want him to take me shopping, but AFTER he comes back to his senses and stops dressing like a St. Marks reject piece of turd.)

JYP has reportedly put all of his pride into this group, and I’m sure they’ll be able to sing and put out good music. Male singers can’t really get away with that bullshit moaning and groaning that a lot of female singers do, so I have hope for this group. (Except there are of seven members and they’re named “2pm”. Like a bad afterthought to “2am”).

On to Big Bangin’ things. “Haru Haru: Part Two” music video is coming out soon. I wonder how much more depressing and stereotypical that one is going to be than the first. To be honest (I really should stop, it’s getting me into trouble) I’m getting kind of sick of Big Bang. The angst, the bad clothing, the badly styled photo shoots (with the exception of Esquire, they owned), the bad rock song they insist on promoting, it’s all too much.

Sigh, I digress again. So Haru Haru part two should actually be coming out today (August 25th) in Korea, so we’ll see what happens, whether or not I end up bursting a vein from frustration.

    2PM + 2AM = One Day.
JYP intends on debuting the two groups together as a big group.. later. that’s why they are named like that. when i first heard of it, i also thought that its lame. but it makes sense. =)

i agree i’m getting tired of big bang. hopefully haru haru part 2 is better >.<

I am a little disillusioned at kpop in general. I need something to get me out of my rut, like Younha’s comeback or something.

I agree, I used to be a fan of Big Bang, but I have stopped enjoying them a while ago. I still enjoy their music, but I have stopped looking for updates or watching anything other than music videos. I think this time they utterly failed at reinventing themselves, it’s like they didn’t even try. The only k-pop groups I have been following to some extent is SHINee, and a bit DBSK. I feel like SHINee is still making an effort to be interesting, with great coreography (I loathe the Haru Haru coreography, it’s like they didn’t even try), adding in chairs and stuff, you know, trying to remain relevant, and that makes them more interesting to me.

Jaime, really? For me that makes it even worse. That’s so many people. Ahh boybands are taking over the freaking world.

ooooooooh so is this JYP’s original “13 member” project now broken up into two groups? HAHAHAHA JYP YOU PIECE OF TRICKSY CRAP.

if 2pm turns out to be more than that promo picture, then i’ll follow them. but if they’re anything like 2am, i’ll just fall asleep. i have no problem following talented boybands who keep me awake.

also, “st marks reject piece of turd” is brilliant. because he could SOOOO fit in with all those people.

i used to watch the Hot Blood program so i can say all of them are talented but the idea of having 2AM and 2PM; that one i’m not sure. but if JYP can make Wondergirls huge, maybe it’s possible with this too. i guess if i were to agree with ppl calling this idea lame, it’s only because both groups are definitely gonna do different genres in completely different image so i can’t find the relevance. it’ll prolly work to their advantage only because 2PM now will be closely associated with a group that has debuted much earlier.

and BigBang, haih. i don’t get their new image too. are they gonna stay ‘angry’ forever? as much as DBSK’s Tri-Angle was horrendous to me, i knew for sure no sane human would want to stay with that kind of look forever. the scary thing is, it’s possible with BB. esp. since GD’s there.

It’s ABOUT TIME that our beloved Big Bang gets some REAL competition. BB needs a challenge, and I think 2PM is excellent match. I’m starting to get a little tired of the funky techno music G-Dragon is making—I miss the Hip-Hop!!! Bring back the hip-hop Big Bang!!!

Here’s 2PM’s preview MV… WG killed it though. (click on my name to view)

jenny + whoever post this ..i would have 2 disagree w/ u guyz mainly bcuz i dO think this way(explain later), n’ ill b honest dat theres a bit of “i want 2 protect BB” but honestly i do think u guyz have some wrong thoughts on dat..but we’ll C, i mean u know i could b wrong 2..anywayz back 2 d topic: I disagree b/c:

jenny u said u used 2 b a fan of big bang n’ stopped lookin’ 4 updates except their MV’s ayt? n’ they failed 2 reinvent themselves n’ not even tryin’? weLL if u only watch d MV’s n’ not their every single perf. , they actually tried 2 change their choreography which tells u “they dO care abt it” ..i would agree w/ U dat it does look pretty easy 2 do (which probably made u NOT interested) , but i think theyre tryin’ 2 match it 2 d beat…but anywayz its ur opinion sO i’d respect dat…

next thing: Big Bang tryin’ d Rock genre? actually they did mention once in a radio program that they like n’ enjoyed Rock music as well, especially TOP n’ they also mentioned that they would like 2 try it in d future which obviously nOw! its understandable if u didnt like it cuz like i said a couple of times in my comments abt this topic “we have different taste of music”..mayb diz is nOt somethin’ u’d enjoy ..n’ i think Big Bang is aware of d fact that some people might nOt like their style this tym but they tried it anyway (n’ dats 1 of d reason i like them)..(note:n’ they make their own music, nOt like others “copy-paste”..didnt mean 2 offend any1,juz sayin’) … ^_^

what i really dont understand though is Y r there some people complained when an artist never changes their style but when they did, they complained that they didnt like it n’ like d old 1s better? ..make up ur mind people..hehe^_^ ..anywayz datz wat i think..any1 have some other ideas??..^_^

actually i have more tOPics bUt i’ll save it 4 later,..i just got hOme n’ im really tired n’ i think i just post an essay ayt der..^_^

    anywayz … like me, u guyz r juz statin’ ur thoughts n’ thats 2tally valid n’ i 2tally respect dat as weLL…^_^

    gtg .. byeeeeeeee………….

Im pretty excited for 2PM. I liked the idea of the whole 2o’clock thing lol
but anyway~ I liked 2AM but they were kinda …boring. :P but then maybe it’s just I’m more into faster songs… all the best for them!

  11. symphony Says:

haha i feel like jyp will be bringin’ it back.
their new song is prettty dang catchy.
and they’re simply following the trend of strange o_O fashion sense.
it woudl be pretty sick if bb finally got some rivals.
    to spice things up
    (:

I personally don’t think the name 2PM is lame
because JYP have 2 groups one is 2AM and other is 2PM= one day or 2o’clock. i like their 10 points out of 10 so far. I’m really upset to see a lot of people is tired of BIG BANG. Actually im really proud of Big Bang, they composed their own music, and different genes of music. Maybe they think they should try some thing new so their fans won’t be bored? Because some fans “why don’t they change style” “why do they always stick on this image?” & when they changed what happened? -.- I really miss Big Bang Hip hop too, but i think they should try something new and not stick on the same image. I think G-dragon’s style after comes back is nice^^ i like it [that is just my opinion don't bash me]
