I Feel Lucky is an upcoming film starring many actors that I very much enjoy watching. Lee Seon Gyeon (Coffee Prince, My Sweet Seoul), Lee Soo Kyeong (Kamyeon, Soulmate, Lawyers of Korea) and Lee Min Ki (Good Day For an Affair, Evasive Inquiry Agency, Dal Ja’s Spring). There’s also Eugene, but I don’t know much about her acting.

I Feel Lucky is a romantic comedy film, centering around the love of three couples. Lee Seon Gyeon is a depressed CEO and falls in love with the sweet and gentle Lee Soo Kyeong, Eugene is a snotty “top star” and  Lee Min Ki plays a fan that she somehow ends up falling in love with (please don’t give fanatics any bad ideas). These people meet in the Phillipines and the love starts from there (no doubt the affects of the heat and tropical drinks with too much rum). There is also an older couple in the film, a man realizes he’s dying and takes his girlfriend with him to the Phillipines. 

The movie was shot in Seoul, Boracay Island and Manila, Philippines. No word on the release date yet. The film started filming last December and finished early this year. The movie was expected to be released in late May but now it’s rumored to not come out until December this year.

I’m really looking forward to this film. If it isn’t great, it should at least be entertaining with such a good actors in it. Anyone else excited? *crickets*
