I hadn’t seen a Big Bang performance in a while (I’ve been avoiding them a bit these days) and seeing them on Music Core reminds how obnoxious those stupid chants the fans do are. To be fair, they did stop while they were singing, which is a rarity.
Anyway, I like Haru Haru but I find the whole GD against TOP thing so impossible to digest because…well TOP could eat GD for breakfast and still be hungry. And I’m sure everytime TOP pushes GD in the head with his finger GD is thinking, Oh no, here it comes again. I also don’t think that Haru Haru is oh-my-god-the-most-bestest-song-by-Big-Bang-ever so I don’t get too excited when I see them perform this. My lack of excitement could also stem from the sucky ass dance they do. I haven’t heard anyone applaud the lack luster choreography and I don’t expect them too, it sucks. Come back, Shaun Evaristo! And for that matter, come back, Big Bang!
Anyway, these are my thoughts on the performance:
- TOP should really reconsider those gloves.
- TOP has such a nice flow when he raps, he gets a bit scary sometimes but he’s pretty sick (sick as in good -_-).
- I’m proud of DaeSung for not wearing a white shirt. He knows the rest of his group looks horrible.
- The choreography must be one long drawn out prank on Big Bang. Like, “Haha, look at the crappy dancing we made you do for weeks on end!”
- The choreography could also be some kind of social experiment. Like, “Hey, do boring dances moves and your fans will love it!”
- GD’s dramatic pivot was pretty excellent.
- Tae Yang… are you there? We miss you. (Mostly for you meandering about without your shirt on but we need you to improve on this situation none-the-less.
- And Lastly, this song’s performance is the kind that makes me wonder, “Are the guys in Big Bang great performers or big drama queens?”
- I really wish that GD would not rub/kiss his lips at the end and put those fingers forward. It’s disturbing.
