Slow couple of days, but some stuff has happened that I have to blab about.
- I, unfortunately, saw So Hee’s ass while watching her perform to Beyonce’s Freakum Dress for her adoring young female fans and pedophile male fans. Yay for fifteen year-olds asking other people to get their freakum dress on and yay for little people with dumpling faces trying to entice her fans with very nearly flashing her vagina. - Han Geng is going to star in a Chinese drama. Good for him.
- Jun Jin passed out from overworking yesterday. I think Korean entertainers should relax and stop working so much, especially if they make crappy music.
- Seo Taiji is making a comeback–or on his way back. July 29th sees the release of the first single from his 8th album, Foetus. Wonder what that means. Go to Seotaiji.com. He’s giving away tickets.
- I’m writing for Seoulbeats! Look forward to my articles there under the penname “illdielaughing”.
- “World Star” Rain is releasing an album in Asia in october. This will be his first album away from JYP. I don’t know how that’s going to sound but I wish him luck because his “world star” status is, well, a lie. In related news, Rain had the nerve to dance with hair like this.
Rain, please, you are not some cowboy on the frontier, come back to your senses and dress with some panache. (And stop doing interviews in English!
I love how his translator sneakily tells him what the person is saying in Korean. My favorite question and answer? Interviewer: “Did you learn any German?” Rain: “It was beautiful. Yeah.” - Japanese boyband Arashi’s Satoshi Ohno is being accused of smoking marijuana and having a threesome–by a Japanese trash mag. People are going crazy, fans are crying, police are threatening to arrest him, Johnny is passing an elephant. Guys, relax. There is no proof besides pictures of Ohno, fully-clothed, with two girls. This seems like a stupid rumor created by assholes and even if it was true…who cares? (Yes, I know marijuana is oh-my-god huge in Japan). What’s sad though is that whether or not it’s true this news is getting pretty international. I first read about it here.

Ah, so Han Geng is beginning his crossover into becoming a multi-entertainer XD And I swear SeoTaji has been “releasing an album” for MONTHS now
I’m curious to see how Seoulbeats will turn out. So is seoulbeats actually going to be written by the Sister or is she just recruiting other writers? Which may work to her advantage to because I’m starting to suspect she’s the one who has poorer English. But in the end, more gossip sites the better.

I’ll still be updating here, I’ll have more freedom to fangirl and rant on this blog so I’ll never let it go lol
The Seoulbeats sister is awesome, I met up with her and, sf, her English is perfect lol
She has great ideas for the site so (and I’m not just saying this cause I’m writing for her) please go check it out when the sites up. I’m pretty excited about it.

eh, I hope I didn’t sound insulting per se, I guess I still haven’t gotten over the string of posts (albeit it was awhile ago) with words like “windwhirl” and wording that seemed as undecipherable as Shenyue’s. In any case, the English on PS seems improved now so I was beginning to assume the incoherent one was the one that had left.
To clarify: I’ve always preferred your website to PS and I think Seoulbeats’ quality will highly benefit from your writing. Even when PS was a duo, I always felt like their posts were very National Enquirer sans the spell checker. High on quantity but low on quality and sources. As for her written English, I suppose we’ll see when she begins posting.

I know not this seoulbeats… do tell. And I love how Rain just kinda made up his own questions to answer. If he said ‘y’know’ one more time I was going to kick myself in the face. Argh!
Have you seen the new (are they leaked?) photos from the DBSK one week “vacation” photoshoot in Arizona? What do you think? (Personally, I did not need to see that much armpit hair from my shiny idols, it reminds me they are human. Haha!) And have you seen the offshot movies from those?
Also, I’m always saying “Well my friend and I thought…” or “I really didn’t like…” so ‘My friend and I’ finally just started a blog. It’s just taking off, but its mostly going to be our opinions about the korea news we hear etc. Feel free to take us under your wing O Great One!

I will never understand all the Ohno love. I mean….yeah he has a great voice (for a Johnny) and he’s funny, but other than that he’s pretty strange….and fat…and not even good-looking. xD; But girls still want to get with him (and apparently have threesomes with him), and all the little J.E. juniors look up to him and I just don’t. get. it. :/

congrats on the Seoulbeats gig! What made them decide to add you to the team? I hope you’re ok there. You realize that alot of the popseoul readers will be looking out for the blog and they’re pretty harsh on the writers sometimes…
OMG the sohee dance woulda been fine if it weren’t for that ass shake bit. That was a bit… um overdone? But hey, at least she wasn’t singing. And since her skirt did indeed keep flying up. I did see what was under; it was lil pink shorts lol.
Rain needs to fire the translator cuz he really did a sucky job of giving him a heads up on the English. Gosh I want soooo badly to teach Rain english… Why won’t he let me? Please Bi you need me!!!!
As for the Arashi thing… I can’t see the newspage so I guess I’ll google it. I never follow jpop but I think people are blowing this way out of proportion. This is just a day in the life of an American Star xP

And I completely understand the Ohno love, he’s hilarious. I have one friend that is obsessed with him and I finally understood why she loved him after watching him on Utaban and random Japanese show clips. And… Ohno is not fat… lol I don’t think he’s a sex symbol but I understand why people like his personality.
I think Rain may just be one of those people that just can’t learn languages, you know? Which is why he should just stick with his translator because when he does get better at English (in 3,4 years) people, including him are going to look back and cringe about when he didn’t.

I think it’s much more provocative to have your dress fly up because your shaking your ass then, say, wearing a bikini on the beach. She’s fifteen, and though I know 15 year-olds aren’t, and shouldn’t have to be, innocent, I think portraying that image publicly is pretty bad. Not slutty or disturbing but kinda wrong.
