Is cross-dressing REALLY necessary for every idol group to do? I seriously thought Tae Min was a girl. Actually, until I saw the way Minho freakishly stood out I thought all of them (except the obvious disaster with the red headband) were girls. They look waaaay too comfortable. What happened to men with balls? Did we lose all of them?
And Onew… haha.

I have come to learn that it’s a kpop thing. It’s like a rite of passage for all male idol groups, especially ones that largely cater to the prepubescent female demographic.
I think little Korean girls find it super adorable to see “pretty boys” as “pretty girls” for some reason. Like, “OMG! He’s so pretty that he’s even cuter and more feminine than an actual girl!”
I don’t think we’ll ever fully understand (or want to in my case…) lol

Yeah…the cross-dressing thing and the dressing up in animal costumes deal…I don’t get it. Like Japan’s utter obsession with ‘cute’. I just don’t get it.
And, though I like SHINee…I still haven’t gotten to the point where I can distinguish one from another.
Anyone care to help me out? XD
