Uhm Jung Hwa’s “comeback” album DISCO got a big helping hand from the best of YG: Kush, Teddy and G-Dragon. Her first single, DISCO, features Teddy (standing around for 5 seconds) and TOP (rapping and looking hot).

I have to say it’s an improvement compared to her old techno trot-like music. I was never into that stuff. It doesn’t sound cheap like the 90’s techno did. This newer sound reminds me of something Kylie Minogue would do..or something I’d hear from Europe mainstream. Uhm Jung Hwa definitely fits in the rank of female entertainers who have survive the times and can still be vibrant and experimental despite her age (I have no idea how old she is, but I bet she’s way younger than Madonna). It’s super trendy sound and video so I think it will attract a crowd and be played all over Korean clubs..especially the gay ones..hahahha. Oh…am I really starting to like it? Well I know I’m really curious and I hope the rest of the album is creative and very danceable. Thanks for posting vid.

So what about Big Bang fans? I’m a big bang fan but I’m not gonna get jealous about Uhm Jung Hwa dancing with TOP. I think Big Bang’s fans tend to be more mature and less irrational than the usual young fans of Idol stars.
