Daesung in Musical “Cats”
You know how I thought SHINee’s Key looked like he was about to join a Flashdance revival? Well, you don’t need to worry about that… but you might want to worry about Dae Sung in Korea’s revival of Cats.
Cats is an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical about Cats (I always thought they were from outerspace but I’m not too sure). It sounds ridiculous but since it’s first run in London’s West End in 1981, Cats has become a mega hit on New York’s Broadway and all over the world. DaeSung will be playing the cat Rum Tum Tugger. ”He will do as he do and there’s no doing anything about it” according to the play. He is also the flirtatious and, often times, sexual cat in the play. (Haha, what a part for Dae Sung).
I’m having a hard time imagining Dae Sung like this:

I always used to be scared of anything that advertised Cats when I was young. I guess it’s good for Daesung though, cause it’s so well known and popular. But LOL at the pic!

I just keep imagining the first picture of him you posted, plus the mane, and it comes up as the Lion for The Wizard of Oz … on CRACK.
I’m a little frightened for Korea right now. But they’ll be okay.
On a side note, I’ll be going to New York for the first time end of July. Anything you suggest doing/seeing?

I’m the worst when it comes to being a New Yorker for tourists. The best advice I can give you is to not look like a tourist, because New Yorkers generally hate them lol
I would suggest going to the Met and the Museum of Natural history. I’ve never been to the statue of liberty so I have no idea whats going on over there, never been to Ellis island either.
But you have to go to Ktown and St. Marks and Chinatown, such good food!
Sorry if I’m completely unhelpful, what kinds of things did you want to do?

I just, honestly, want to have fun. Not helpful? I was already planning to go to the Met, Chinatown, Times Square, Broadway, Empire State Building, the aquariam, the botanical garden, and the great green lady. Haha.
I guess I just want to see a lot, eat a lot, and shop a little.
How do I not look like a tourist?
