SHINee’s Jong Hyun Crying on MC Mong Radio
On the June 14th airing of MC Mong Radio, SHINee was on and they talked about and thanked their parents.
Ohn Yu went first and while he was thanking his ‘rents Jong Hyun started crying. As Jong Hyun was crying I started laughing. Not because I think his emotion is funny but just because the music in the background was so campy, MC Mong is narrating it like a sports announcer and the sounds Jong Hyun made were so…. funny. And he’s sniffling through out all of the other member’s thank you’s. I’m sorry to all those that were teary eyed while listening to this I just couldn’t stop from laughing.
I also thought it was funny how Taemin thanked his parents for “just bring [him] into this world” I couldn’t help but think, no wonder that’s all he’ll thank them for, it happened so recently…
Minho promises his parents that from now on he’ll be a handsome son. Wow, that’s really deep.
But my favorite bit of dialogue in this radio show is:
MC Mong: There’s pizza outside so please don’t cry. Please be strong, Jong Hyun!
Jong Hyun: Ah… I’m sorry.
MC Mong: Now that you’ve cried you feel better, right?
Jong Hyun: Yea…

LOL.
I honestly thought I was heartless since I was semi-giggling when I saw the clip. I really did feel bad since it was supposed to be a touching moment but……yeah, I couldn’t help myself. XD
I couldn’t help but think, no wonder that’s all he’ll thank them for, it happened so recently…
I don’t know if I should laugh at this or cry about my age.

The music was hella campy, but dude, they’re still so young and they’ve had to be away from their parents for so long. And who’da thunk that MC Mong was such a softie to his dongsaengs?

Oh yeah, I know how hard it is for them, all the kids in the idol business have it really hard, working, being in school and living away from home for so long. But I just couldn’t help being slightly amused, like I said it wasn’t at Jong Hyun’s emotions it was just the way he was emoting and MC Mong was soooo milking that moment for everything it was worth I couldn’t help myself.
I love MC Mong, I think in general he’s just a chill guy (we hang out all the time)
