Park Myung Soo’s Having a Baby

Park Myung Soo and his wife of little over a month, Han Soo Min, are going to have a baby. 

For some reason I always thought (hoped?) that Park Myung Soo was an asexual being and that impregnating a woman was out of the question.

Well congratulations Myung Soo! They’re little bundle of joy is expected to arrive in October.

Why I think Myung Soo should not have children:

This is his Talala music video. It’s horrifying in the way that a traffic accident is horrible, tragic but you can’t look away. I think Myung Soo’s a vampire or something? (Noh Hong Chul cameo!)

Big Bang’s “With U” Mini Album

I prefer them in Korean and it has nothing to do with accents. 

The lyrics just suck. If they were an English group and they sang with those lyrics I would think the same thing. It’s so riddled with all the overused hip-hop catch phrases and terminology that I hate. Most of the songs are remakes so they have a better Korean version and the songs that aren’t remakes aren’t that mind-blowing. (Though I like With U, as many have mentioned before it’s generic for Big Bang. They can do so much better). They remade Babo into Mad About You, Oh my, that is not nice. I LOVE Babo and I thought the remake was just okay. They also remade Last Farewell and This Love into songs that are inferior to their originals.  I don’t blame the boys, they hardly even know what they’re saying but I know YG can dig up better English lyricists. 

Through all this I keep in mind that this is for an audience who presumably has never heard their Korean music and who mostly don’t understand English either, so they may not be as jarred by this album. But even as an album there is no flow or art to how it’s mixed. Bah humbug, I’ll just wait patiently for their next Korean single. (You know, the one that YG says will far surpass Lies and Last Farewell.

At the end of the day, the mini-album is alright. Certainly not worth 22 dollars though. 

*Disclaimer: I know a lot of people loved this album so just keep in mind that this is my opinion… you know, one of the things that differentiate us from each other? Okay.*

Andy… She’s REALLY You’re Type?

Haha, Andy went from saying that anyone, as long as they’re a girl, is his ideal type. (erm…. okay.) And now SNSD member and 17 year-old Yoona is his ideal type? (Erm… pedophilia makes me twitch). 

Well, Yoona returns the feelings. She said recently that after watching Andy cook on We Got Married she finds him to be her ideal man. Well, this statutory couple can have lots of fun with each other. And Yoona can work on her handwriting as she writes Andy lots of letters while he’s in jail. 

Anyway, Solbi is so much better than Yoona, and it’s not just because I don’t like SNSD, it’s that Solbi’s personality is so much better than Yoona’s, she’s more mature and, for goodness sake, she’s not 17 years-old. Andy’s really bothered me with this Lolita complex of his. I know he’s the youngest member of Shinhwa but he’s not THAT young. 

Also, isn’t it just convenient that the news of Andy being Yoona’s ideal type comes out after Tiffany insulted Jun Jin and Shin Hye Sung? Haha, I don’t even try to take Girl’s Generation seriously anymore.

DBSK’s Horizon Dance on the Star Show

Apparently, they do it in rehearsals. Yoochun made it up… which makes sense to me because Yoochun always was the one having trouble with his dancing. Hahaha…

SHINee is in MY Itunes

Damn you Lee Soo Man, Damn you.

 From left to right, Ohn Yoo, Jong Hyun, Tae Min, Min Ho, and Key. (I THINK, I really can’t be too sure. I know Tae Min is in the middle and to his right is Min Ho, who does not cease to creep me out. I know to his right is Key, who looks 5 minutes away from joining some type of Flashdance revival. Hmm… correct me if I’m wrong about who’s who).

So… The ages of the boys aren’t THAT bad. (Funny how my stand is so easily changing.) There are two 18 year-olds, two 16 year-olds and a 14 year-old. The 14 year-old Tae Min, can actually sing really well, which I wasn’t expecting. The dancing is kind of…I’m still forming an opinion.… for me but their voices are so nice. Also, I figure, I’m 18 and all but one of the members is within 2 years of my age. Not a big deal at all. The 14 year-old thing just put up big warning signs for me. Read more »

Changmin’ll Break Up A Marriage With That Talk

We all remember Changmin’s old crush on Han Ga In. Well, in yesterdays episode of The Star Show he gave Han Ga In a message. 

“I heard from the members… that the person next to you, Mr. Yeon Jung Hoon (Han Ga In’s husband), is a really nice guy. but I’m not a bad guy, either.”

Hahahha, I was cracking up. Changmin is the king of wit.

Bringing You the Talent

I found another talented Youtuber. This girl’s name is Lee Jung Min and she a 19 year-old from Incheon, South Korea.


Singing Gummy’s 나는. She has a really nice tone to her voice. She sometimes misses a note or hits the wrong one but she has a lot of potential. I also like how you can hear the emotion in her voice.

Fierce 12 year-old on Star King

I think that this is a bit too sexed up (:30 ) but the twelve year-old boy in this clip is so funny. Him silently roaring at the audience every so often is hilarious. And Ee Teuk’s face after the first one (:38) is *priceless*. He looks so confused after he does it too. Watching the judges react to him is so funny, especially during his power punches(2:25).

She’s wearing stockings under short-shorts with a belly shirt and some 80’s blowout hairstyle. She does a pseudo strip tease face while she takes off her jacket and reveals that her shirt does not have a back…. not cute whatsoever. Her solo performance at the end was unacceptable, in my opinion. When she’s older and her act becomes more age appropriate she’ll be fierce, but now? It’s just disturbing. She’s ten years-old.

Overall the boy is a better dancer but they’re both fierce. I just can’t really enjoy the girls performance because she isn’t at all acting her age.

DBSK on German MTV

German MTV had a special on fan clubs.

They mention DBSK because of they have the largest fanclub of any club or individual in the world. Don’t get too excited though they only at the end of this short clip for 10 seconds. This is what the female host was saying during their short stint. 

“According to the Guinness book a korean boygroup named Dong Bang Shin Ki has the biggest fanclub but since nobody knows them here, we continue.. (with the program..)”

Hahaha, that’s really funny but so true. They have the biggest fanclub in Asia but in the Western world they’re not very well known at all. Also, they may have the largest fan club but they’ve never sold anywhere near as many albums as they have fanclub members.
