SHINee Sounding Scripted
From Allkpop.com, SHINee talking about getting into SM:
Tae Min (youngest 14): ”I started dancing since 3rd grade. I always loved to dance and when I heard that SM Entertainment was holding auditions, I rushed to go try out. I was lucky and got casted. Even now, whenever I have time, I’m always watching dance videos to learn new moves.”
Ohn Yoo (leader): ”As soon as I entered high school, I felt that I really wanted to sing, I fell in love with music. People around me also kept telling me that I sing pretty well, so I decided that I wanted to become a singer and enlisted in the SM Academy. From there, I was casted and am now a part of SHINee.”
Key: ”When I was in Kindergarten, I chose “singer” as my future dream occupation. When SM Entertainment held auditions, I tried out.”
Min Ho: ”I was road casted by chance. Even as a child, I always loved preforming for others, so when I was casted by luck, I was extremely happy.”
Jong Hyun: ”Ever since middle school, I was actively involved in various bands and performed at many competitions to further my skills. Luckily, at one of the competitions, an SM Entertainment representative was watching and I got casted.”
The SHINee members also stated, “When we first met and were under training, we didn’t really talk much to each other. We were all very young and we even got into a couple fights with each other, but we think that’s pretty normal for all trainees.”
BORING… SHINee, be more interesting, please. I beg of you. EVERYONE, says stuff like this when they first debut. And no one really cares. *Sigh* If I’m going to give in and actually like you, SHINee, you’re going to have to not sound like robots. Is it just me or are all SM artists really scripted until they hit it big? (And even then…)

It’s all part of the “training” they undergo….and I’ve always had a feeling that SM artists were particularly drilled on how to respond to all types of media (since SM tends to heavily market their singers as “all-around entertainers”)….which is ironic in light of the whole SNSD/Tiffany comments…but I’m digressing.
It does sound quite rehearsed…even their live introduction on (is it Mnet?) sounded pretty robotic….then again, they could have just been super nervous or something. I just have a vibe we’ll get a lot more rehearsed material from them in the future until they get more comfortable in the spotlight (or flawless in their rehearsals)

Well there probably really isn’t a very interesting story to share? I think the most ‘exciting’ one was Jonghyun’s because he was just really lucky to have someone from SM watching. Though for some reason I find that kinda creepy xDD
The non-boring stuff will probably come in later like when they’re sharing stuff which happened during training. Or maybe the fun stuff will start now?
