Ha Ji Won is BAAAACK
I really like Ha Ji Won. I haven’t seen Memories in Bali or Damo but I’ve seen a couple of her movies and I think she’s a good actress with great charisma (gah, watching too many variety shows “charisma” “charisma”).
I was so disappointed to see the movie version of Hwang Jin Yi because Song Hye Gyo did absolutely nothing in her role except say her lines and look pretty. But from the little I’ve seen of Ji Won’s Hwang Jin Yi it’s obvious that Ha Ji Won just has that extra something every star needs to be great on screen.
Anyway, Ha Ji Won is back with a new movie in which she is the bad-ass, monster fighting lead. The movie is called Seven Remedies and it starts shooting in New Zealand this June. From what I’ve heard it being described as, Seven Remedies is pretty much The Host with a female lead. “Ha Ji-won will be showing action like Angelina Jolie in ‘Tomb Raider… Her fighting scene with the monster will be the highlight” says the producer of the film.
Sounds like another summer blockbuster. I hope it turns out well and that Ha Ji Won gets the same box office turn out that a male lead would get.

I watched her in “100 Days With Mr. Arrogant” and I hated that movie and may have in turn not found Ha Ji Won to be too likable but I’ll try something else out.

haha I saw 100 days too but I liked Ha Ji Won in it, the movie was absolutely ridiculous and a rom-com cliche but I found it bearable. I hardly ever finish anything I see with her in it like Damo and Hwang Jin Yi but she’s really good in both. It’s just my short attention span and spoilers that keep me from finishing it. lol
I wouldn’t recommend anything I’ve finished because I like her performance much more than I like the film/drama.

OH MY GOD IN NEW ZEALAND?! I LIVE HERE/THERE!! do you know which city??? not like i’ll be stalking or anything, i don’t even know this actress… IT’S JUST EXCITING THAT SOMETHING INTERESTING IS GOING ON IN MY CRAPPY BORING COUNTRY. XD
