Lee Dong Gun Identifies his Brother’s Body
Lee Dong Gun’s younger brother was murdered in Sydney on Wednesday in a violent knife attack allegedly by two members of an Asian crime gang. A friend that was with him was also stabbed but survived. Lee Dong Gun’s brother was studying in Australia before his death. In fact, when his death occurred on Wednesday he was only known as a 19 year-old student. It wasn’t until Lee Dong Gun and his family rushed down there and identified the body that the Korean media got a hold of it. There is CCTV footage of Lee’s brother’s friend staggering into a convenience store asking for help.
It’s tragic to deal with such a young and senseless death, wishing Lee’s family all the best while they cope.

This is very tragic indeed. But just to correct you, I don’t think it was Lee Dong Gun’s brother that was staggering into the store. It was his friend because they said while he was asking for help, his friend laid dead in the streets 150 meters away. Anyways…this is too sad. I feel soOoo terrible for Lee Dong Gun and his family. May he rest in peace

:O omg my mum read about this in the newspaper and i happened to walk on the very st he was murdered on just the day after. i can’t believe it’s lee dong gun’s brother coz like u said, they were simply identified as a 19 yr old korean and his friend.

This is absolutely the worse news i have heard – To think that i live in a Country and walk the exact street and feel safe. If this was gang related then i think the Australian Federal Police need to stop focussing on how important it is to protect the US President when he is here and actually wake up and see that its own people and people we welcome here to study are no longer safe in a main city street.
I am horrified for the family – I wish them my deepest condolances and hope that Australian justice proveals!
