Spotlight: Ryan Higa
I wrote about one “youtube celebrity”, Kokujin Tensai, when I first started this blog. And now I bring you another, Ryan Higa A.K.A. Nigahiga.
What does he do? And why does he have almost 80,000 subscribers? And why do each of his videos have thousands of comments?
Well, I think it’s because he’s rather funny.
Japanese-American Ryan Higa lives in Hawai’i and sometime last year he began posting comedy videos. It started out as him and his right hand man Sean Fujiyoshi lipsynching to The Spice Girls and Rihanna, it escalated to Rants and music videos to Celine Dion and it capped off at spoofs and “How To” vids. Basically they specialize in silly, silly humor.

I found some of his videos funny and I’ll admit you have to forget that you are a intelligent human being to watch most of them. Some of his videos are offensive without meaning to be, and some of them will leave a giant ellipsis (…) over your head. And others, like I said, will have you dying with laughter. I would say watch a Higa video. But they are completely and undeniably foolish. Don’t say I didn’t warm you.

It’s interesting how so many “Youtube celebrities” are popping up. Just the other day my friend showed me a video of one of them.
I thought it was funny, albeit in a very lets-turn-off-my-brain kinda way.

I think Ryan Higa is awesome! Anyone that thinks he is being offensive in any of his videos should just laugh at it instead of getting mad. He is only trying to be funny (which he is) and then people get mad at him. If you find him offensive then dont watch him and dont comment here or on youtube. Anyway Ryan rocks and so does everyone who likes him.

ive seen all nigahigas videos sOOO many times and i have the same laugh the 1st time i saw it (which actually almost killed me 4 laughing sOOO hard LOL)…hes really funny n’ i agree that some of his comments really didnt suit to my ear but on some point its the real world (n’ he only tries 2 b funny) which i think is really funny!!! hay..what more can i say on this guy?..did i say hes funnY??? n’ cute eh?!!!

OmG! My friend came to my home today and showed me one of his video ” The ipod Human” and “How to be a Niga” and a few more. He is absolutely handsome!!! Sadly, he is already taken away. He already has a girlfriend. There is no way that I can meet him anyways, but he is great. He is funny, hilarious…..lol ^^
