Heath Ledger lived in Soho on Broome street (in Manhattan). It was in his fourth floor apartment that he was found dead. According to the police there were sleeping pills found but the cause of death is still not known as his body was found today. The police also say that there was no evidence of foul play. When Heath Ledger’s masseuse arrived his housekeeper went to get him from his bedroom but she found him naked and dead on his bed with empty sleeping pill bottles in the vicinity.

Heath, famous for 10 Things I Hate About You and The Patriot but made infamous for his roles in Brokeback Mountain and I’m Not There, was one of the most promising actors in Hollywood. In my opinion, he was the kind of actor that could really act and wasn’t just a handsome face. He was the kind of actor that could give a movie like Casanova more depth.

It’s rather unbelievable that he died at such a young age and hopefully soon there will be some light shone on the reason.

Heath is survived by his two year old daughter with actress Michelle Williams, Matilda. His next and last finished movie is The Dark Knight in which Heath plays The Joker. He was in the middle of filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
