DBSK “O” Concert “Behind-the-Scenes”

Part 1

Things I love:
Changmin trying to break a door off by himself
Yunho has a huge sledge hammer, compared to everyone elses crowbars
Micky go after the door like the Hulk (on speed)
Junsu to Yunho: “Stop showing off your hammer”

Part 2

Things I love:
Jae Joong’s got the sledge hammer, uh oh
Xiah almost pulling a car…
Mickey and Xiah as Jack and Rose of Titanic, respectively
Yunho being WAY too excited about his rear side view mirror.
The fact that they are basically looting the car… haha

Part 3

Things I love:
Their interesting reassembly of the car
Mickey is on something, too much sugar perhaps?

I love how you can see the individual guys’ styles in the vids. Yunho and Micky’s awesome baggy sweatshirts and fresh sneakers, Xiah’s plaids and jacket, Jaejoong’s puffy jacket with furry hood and Changmin’s suspenders (hehe)

DBSK’s Purple Line PV: Behind-the-Scenes

Well, sort of. (I do that alot don’t I?)

This vid, thanks to xchocopiex from youtube, shows Yunho at the PV shoot for what I can only assume is Purple Line because 1) the video title said it and 2) he’s wearing a purple shirt. (My abilities of deduction are stunning.) The video, shot by a stalkerazzi lovely fan on December 18, is Yunho based but it does give you a little taste of what the video concept might be. Is it ugly/interesting purple shirts under black suits, dancing, a Hugo Boss supplied wardobe and Tokyo’s luscious night as the backdrop? Who knows? We’ll find out for sure when the PV comes out, in January. (The single is out January 16th)

About the vid:
How funny is it that the person who shot this is hiding behind a tree. She get’s an A for fitting the paparazzi role to a tee.

Sex and the City

The movie is coming out May 2008. More Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte next spring.

Can’t wait? Here’s the teaser trailer. It’s a perfect teaser trailer in that it tells you absolutely nothing about the film.

Final Fantasy XIII

I am a geek when it comes to video games. I haven’t played any in the past few months (college). But back in the good ole days of middle school and high school when I had alot more free time, I was a Final Fantasy GEEK (I’ve never finished any of the games though haha). I own Final Fantasy VII, X, X-2 and XII and now that there is a thirteenth I will certainly get that. The only sucky part is that it’s being released on the the ridiculously expensive platform, PS3 and not PS2. I’m a Playstation groupie and I would love to buy PS3. But seriously, 400 dollars… I can buy SO much food that…

 The lead character is a woman (W0ot Wo0t!) and the character designer, Tetsuya Nomura, was told to create a femal version of Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. And because Cloud kicks asss she will be awesome. So being the female Cloud, her name is Lightning (she’s forgotten her real name due to amnesia) and she looks as if she can kick ass, just from this one picture. I love her character already.lighteningff13Pic got cut off click for bigger size.

The only other character revealed is a mysterious guy that is only known by his shoe size, which is 33cm (Which I believe is a US 12 or 13). He and the main character have a “unique” relationship.

Why We Love MC Yoo (and Kang Ho Dong too)

Oh yeah and then there’s Lee Hyuk Jae but really Yoo Jae Suk/MC Yoo is funny as hell. If you’ve ever watched old episodes of Xman, you’ll know what I’m talking about. If you’ve ever watched a really good episode of Yashimmanman you’ll know why I love Kang Ho Dong. And this clip here pretty much solidifies why I love them both… (and maybe Lee Hyuk Jae)

Presenting…The Latin Boys:

Many have seen this but this has to be shared because seeing theserelatively normal guys in ridiculous wigs and shirts (or lack there of) is hilarious.
Things I love about this video:
1. Hyuk Jae’s overly excited face.
2. Yoo Jae Suk losing one of his maracas in the fervor to take off his shirt.
3. Kang Ho Dong.
4. Yoo Jae Suk’s dance moves, WTF?
5. Jun Jin’s full on point-and-laugh.

Maybe this is the better christmas gift?

Lee Hyori

I like Lee Hyori for not being anorexic and being comfortable with herself and blah blah blah but as a singer… well… I know before I may have seemed harsh when I posted about her not paying taxes for a year but I’ve been thinking…


Hyori’s hit song “10 minutes” from her debut solo album “Stylish”

After watching this MV and listening to the song I realize that Lee Hyori is kind of like a Korean Jennifer Lopez or Britney Spears. Not so great vocals but with a healthy, dancer image. (Even though J.Lo and B.Spears are much better dancers than Hyori.) 10 Minutes, which was a huge hit when it came out in Korea is the kind of song I would have listened to in middle school. It’s remotely catchy with predictable harmonies and melodies. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous that Lee Hyori made so much money. But my Korean friend, who I agree with almost always when it comes to music and entertainment said, “But I think she’s worth it”. WTF? I was like, whatever… but then I started thinking about artists like Madonna and Britney Spears. Madonna’s voice is not extroardinary but her image and what she had the guts to sing about is what made her so popular. And B.Spears, in the “good” years, was all image, even her ballads were badly sung but she had that poppy beat that young girls really liked. Madonna, who is  the highest earning female entertainer in the world, cannot sing like Celine Dion but she writes and produces songs that are like modern poetry and starting in the early nineties she was producing most of her tracks.

SMAP Leader and Koda Kumi Getting it On.

Well, there dating. SMAP leader Nakai Masahiro and singer Koda Kumi are an item. You may remember Koda Kumi on Utaban (which Nakai co-hosts) with Dong Bang Shin Ki. They were talking about what couples do and other cutesy things like that. Now I have to go back and check out the body language between Koda Kumi and Nakai (who’s ten years her senior).

 Do you sense any love in the air?

Korea’s Box Office

I Am Legend was number one in Korea this past weekend with 678,619 dollars. I have yet to see that movie. I do want to see it but I don’t want to have to pay for it because I heard it wasn’t that great. But must support movies blah blah blah.

Venus and Mars Trailer

Moving on, Venus and Mars, the over-hyped Kim Tae Hee Film is at number four ($164,750) and Seven Days is still going in the Box Office at number five. I was really surprised thay Kiki’s Delivery Service is even released theatrically, especially since I have it on DVD but the Japanese anime film is at number nine. The Box office numbers are so different from American numbers. We talk in millions and the Korean movie industry talks in hundred thousands. I’m not surprised that Chungmoro, who makes movies just as good (and just as sucky) as Hollywood, is having a hard time keeping up.

Big Bang, Wonder Girls and Idol Suckdom

Just heard (or read, really) that Big Bang and Wonder Girls are going to be doing a joint music drama. Basically it’s going to take the respective groups’ music and use it as an OST for a drama that will include funny stuff and romance, love triangles and possibly poop jokes. Usually Idol dramas take everything from the worst-drama-you’ve-ever-seen and makes singers act in the confines of said crappy story lines. I was already distraught enough when I saw Big Bang’s sadly ridiculous, albiet funny, drama but now they have one with the Wonder Girls?

MERRY CHRISTMAS! (Mac’s are the Bane of my Existence)

Once again, my computer is with the geniuses at Mac. Before my problems were that the keyboard and trackpad stopped working. I went to the mac store they took it, said it would take 2-5 days, get it back a week and a half later and then…whats this? My keyboard backlight doesn’t work and the screen keeps flickering like the girl from the ring is going to come kill me. Eventually the screen just because unusable. So, three days after I got my mac back from getting it fixed I returned to the mac store and now they have it again.

So basically, I’ll be done for a couple of days. They said they’d make it priority because it’s there fault that my computer is unusable so hopefully, it’ll only be 2 or 3 days. Bah Humbug, Merry Christmas Everyone. Thanks for reading and sticking with this blog. Your comments made me happy. My christmas gift to you is this:

Batman Sequel The Dark Knight! Okay, maybe only superhero lovers like me will like this “gift” haha
