I was reading Popfestfast and Amy posted about Honey Lee and Epik High’s Performance of Fan at the Golden Disk Awards. I watched it and was amazed. Not just because I love Epik High and their song Fan but because Honey Lee led an accompaniment of gayageums. The performance is pretty intense. Inspired I’m creating this post about my fave performances from the Golden Disk Awards (December 14th, 2007)Epik High and Honey Lee on the Gayageum Honey Lee is so talented, look at how fast her fingers move at the chorus. And Of course I had to have Big Bang’s performance here. I love these guys. I have to be honest though, when I first heard Lies I thought it was crappy but I love the song now, as well as there new single off of their second mini album “Last Farewell”. It’s so good. G-dragon is really doing well for himself, he’s only 19 and he writes and produces most of Big Bang’s songs. I always think it’s funny the interesting movements that T.O.P. does. I guess since he can’t dance he does things like wagging his finger vigorously (see “Lies”) or approach the audience on one knee like he does in this performance.Anyway, there performance wasn’t spectacular but they have so much energy (even though Seung Ri hurt his ankle).  There were many other performances from Yangpa, Wheesung, Shin Hye Sung and The Wonder Girls, Super Junior and the likes, if you want to watch them start here and blaze on through the rest.
