Yes comrades, the book Xiah is holding, L’etranger, was read by my 12th grade French class(French IV). It’s a pretty intense book, some awesome existential shit…word.

Anyway, this is just my way of plugging you into the pics from Dong Bang Shin Ki’s Bonjour Paris! photo book. Now, I really have no idea whether or not celebrities in the states do photobooks like this but it’s probably because fandom isn’t as intense here as it is in Korea. I think it’s really interesting how big of a deal it is. Basically, I’m really cheap and no matter how much I like an artist I’m not going to buy something that isn’t directly related to their music (but I’ll gladly accept it as a gift!) So photobooks aren’t something that I’m too interested in. Photobooks also scare me because it suggests that an artist takes themselves more seriously than they should. But that is not always the case. I really hope it’s not the case with DBSK but these pics are so funny, some are so ridiculously campy that I can’t imagine that they take themselves that seriously (even though you get pictures like the one above. I’ll call it “Intellectual Junsu” or the one below “I’m to serious to actually be alive”
